Welcome to my Blogs – a brief explanation!

I wrote this blog because I am lucky to be able to travel a lot, and when I do travel I normally email friends and family to tell them about my adventures. What I didn’t realise was that the emails I sent got forwarded to other people that in turn expressed an interest in what I was doing and where I was. So from there I decided that a blog would be an easy way to let not only friends and family, but anyone else find out about the places I have traveled.

Since I have benefited from information posted by those that have been before me, I feel it is time for me to also do my bit to add to the knowledge pool of various destinations.

The posts initially are excerpts from my (almost) daily emails, I decided to start that way as it is both simple, and since they are not remembered regurgitation’s they are an accurate reflection of what I experienced at the time.

I will post various blogs as and if I have time – it will be very much a work in progress – you can always cross over to the photography pages on my site to view other photos from the various countries.

I hope you get some value from the posts – I welcome any feedback or questions.
